Opinion | Help migrants get jobs faster

The Dec. 10 front-page article “Some states spurn migrants. The Rust Belt wants them.” was critical given how Congress continues to loudly proclaim that our southern border is a disaster and how Congress is trying to hinge important aid to Ukraine and Israel on restricting our border policies. But this perpetuates the myth that welcoming legal migrants necessarily involves pressure on safety nets.
