In the News: HIAS Pennsylvania joins others to protest on Tisha B’Av

HIAS Pennsylvania Executive Director Cathryn Miller-Wilson joined the Philadelphia Jewish Community at These We Cry Out: A Tisha B’Av Vigil for Refugees at the Independence National Historical Park. As she said, ““I can’t say this strongly enough — I’m not trying to be alarmist — there are 70 million displaced people. We cannot turn our backs, and we cannot be the leaders amongst other countries in turning our backs.” Read more here.
