A Virtual Panel Discussion Regarding the Religious Value of Welcoming the Stranger

During this virtual panel,

  • Imam Basheer Bilaal, the Imam of the Muslim Society of Delaware Valley
  • Rev. Josh Blakesley, who runs the Welcome Project PA and leads Love in Action United Church of Christ, and
  • Rabbi Jill Maderer, the Rabbi at Congregation Rodeph Shalom

will discuss how, from a faith-based perspective, we put the value of welcoming the stranger into action. Following the panel, participants will engage in Advocacy in Action, focusing on writing letters to Congress about humanitarian parole, pathways to citizenship, and driver’s licenses for all Pennsylvanians.
