On Dec 21, 1992, Shirley set foot in The Great Northeast of The United States of America. Shirley is a seasoned professional who has served Presidents, Chief Executive Officers, and Chief Financial Officers at various companies. She has handled the books of Smith, Bell & Co., Inc.; The Philippine American Life Insurance Company, an affiliate of AIG NY; AmeriChoice Behavioral Healthcare, known today as United Healthcare; Internal Revenue Service (IRS); Toll Brothers Luxury Homes; Security and Data Technologies, Inc.; Belmont Behavioral Healthcare Hospital; and Livengrin Foundation, Inc. Shirley has also successfully assisted Filipinas in acquiring legal documentation to apply for U. S Citizenship. On Oct 30, 2023 Shirley joined HIAS Pennsylvania as an Accounting Associate.

Shirley earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and majored in Accounting at The University of the East, Manila, Philippines. She is a proactive QuickBooks Online Certified User, a problem solver, a teacher, and a leader.

Shirley is an optimist and believes that taking a step backward after taking a step forward is not a disaster – it’s more like the Cha Cha Cha. In her free time, Shirley loves music, singing, dancing, the arts, and traveling with family, loved ones, and friends.
