Rebecca Vilella Perez is a Know Your Rights Specialist on the Immigrant Youth Advocacy Program team at HIAS Pennsylvania. In this role, Rebecca will provide informational presentations, legal screenings, and referrals to detained unaccompanied youth in Pennsylvania. Last year, she had the pleasure of travelling to Honduras to embark on a week-long medical brigade to provide vulnerable populations with clothing, medicine, food, and water. This experience allowed her to recognize the immense passion she feels for helping those in need and she aspires to one day become an immigration lawyer.

Rebecca holds a bachelors degree in Administration of Justice and a minor in Sociology.
