Parvin Hashemi
Parvin Hashemi is a Bilingual Education Case Aide at HIAS PA. She started in June 2022.
In this role, Parvin Hashemi supports and helps newly arrived families with school enrollment and learning about the US school system also helps to support youth programming that provides language and social-emotional support to newly arrived refugee youth.
Parvin graduated from university with a degree in Economics. Her work experience is with international organizations in Afghanistan such as Aga Khan Foundation Network, Bayat Media Group, 1 TV, United State Institute of Peace, and GIZ, and has worked in the social sectors of gender equality, contribution and roles of women in government projects, poverty, women empowerment, and conflict resolution and peacebuilding, and also in the economics sectors of TV and radio marketing and advertising management. Parvin is the author of “Family Economy – Clothing”.
Parvin hopes that all new immigrants to the US achieve their high academic dreams and live successfully in PEACE!
