Mary McCabe is the UCP Grant Supervising Attorney at HIAS Pennsylvania. She represents kids and teens in removal proceedings, and supervises a team that provides direct representation, Know Your Rights presentations, and legal screenings to unaccompanied minors in Office of Refugee Resettlement custody and post-release. Before joining HIAS Pennsylvania as an attorney in 2015, Mary spent many years as a HIAS PA volunteer. After graduating from Harvard Law School, Mary was a staff attorney at Central American Refugee Center on Long Island, and then at Catholic Legal Immigration Network in New Jersey and New York.
