Lea Schuckmann is an Action Reconciliation Service for Peace (ARSP) volunteer from Germany.

ARSP is a volunteer organization dedicated to promoting peace, reconciliation, and social justice through partnering with many different agencies and initiatives in Europe, the US, and Israel.

Lea finished her high school education in Germany last summer. Wanting to learn more about social justice issues and different cultures, she decided to take a gap year before starting college.

Lea mainly works with the AOP team (Asylee Outreach Program) and also helps the education team with their Young Adult Mentoring program, hoping to learn more about the American immigration system and challenges that immigrant communities face.
