Julie Stavarski

Julie is an Immigrant Justice Corps (IJC) fellow who will be working with the asylum and removal defense team. Previously, Julie served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Dominican Republic and as a mental health services Program Coordinator for immigrants at WHCI in Philadelphia.

She received her B.S. in Public Health from Temple University and her J.D. from CUNY School of Law. While in law school, Julie served as a Co-Director of her school’s International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP) chapter, was a student attorney with the Disability and Aging Justice Clinic, and volunteered with IRAP and Make the Road New York to conduct legal screenings. She also interned at Church World Service Lancaster, with Legal Services of New Jersey as a Deborah T. Poritz Public Interest Legal Fellow, and American Friends Service Committee in Newark.
