***Due to overwhelming support and lack of storage space, we cannot receive household goods until 2022. Please see this list for our recommended partners you can donate to instead.***
Our Standards of Excellence
HIAS PA is only able to accept new or gently used items that are clean and in good and working condition. We do not have the capacity to clean or fix items. Consider: Would you give this item to a loved one?

As of March 2020, HIAS PA has forged a partnership with the Philadelphia Furniture Bank. The Philadelphia Furniture Bank collects furniture donations from the public and in turn, provides furnishings to Philadelphians in need. All furniture donors interested in supporting Immigrants and Refugees should donate the furniture to the Furniture Bank. The Furniture Bank is able to provide pickup if needed – and it can also accept drop offs, which we were previously unable to accommodate. The Furniture Bank is not able to take everything, but it does outline what it takes here.
Donating New Items
Thank you for considering donating new items. We have identified our top needs and shared them on our Target Registry. When you purchase here, the items will be shipped to our office and you will receive a receipt of contribution in the mail. We thank you for your generosity.
