NSC, HIAS PA, and Bethany Christian Services will host a press conference on September 6th to discuss the current state of the United States Resettlement Program, as there is expected to be another drastic drop in the number of refugee arrivals for the upcoming federal fiscal year. Currently, the annual national ceiling is set at 45k, and this number could drop as low as 25k for the coming year, with actual arrivals even lower.
