Join the Young Friends of NMAJH for a tour through ‘Power of Protest’, featuring speakers from the front lines of civil rights movements. Marina Furman, of the Jewish National Fund – USA, and her husband Lev, Soviet refuseniks, will share stories of their underground work and eventual path to freedom. Cathryn Miller-Wilson, executive director of HIAS Pennsylvania, will discuss refugee advocacy in today’s world.
