After reading headlines and hearing sound bites describing the perils of immigrants and refugees in our country, are you trying to figure out what’s going on and how you can help? Join other concerned neighbors in learning about the current immigration situation —both big picture and on the ground, and network with organizations that are taking action and can help you get involved. Hear from our panel of experts about documented and undocumented immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers:

  • Cathryn Miller-Wilson , Executive Director, HIAS PA (Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society)
  • Professor Abel Rodriguez, JD, Director, The Center on Immigration, Cabrini College
  • Margarita Contreras, Director of Social Services, ACLAMO (Latin American Community Action of Montgomery County)
  • Philippe Weisz, JD, Managing Attorney, HIAS PA

Network with these and other organizations about advocacy and volunteering. It is a critical time in our country. Find out what we can do to continue welcoming and supporting those searching for a new and better life.

Admission is free. Refreshments will be available.

Co-sponsored by Bethel AME Church of Ardmore, Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, Main Line Reform Temple, and St Mary’s Episcopal Church.
