300+ Bipartisan State and Local Elected Leaders Call on the Trump Administration to Defend Refuge
On March 20, 2025, 300+ state & local elected officials nationwide sent a bipartisan letter to the Trump administration in partnership with Defend Refuge. The letter proudly states that American communities want to welcome refugees and urges the federal government to reinstate our country’s refugee resettlement program.
Visit defendrefuge.org to see if your elected officials signed the letter. If you can’t find your representatives on the list of signatures, let them know that you are disappointed to see their absence on such an important statement. If you do see their signatures, be sure to thank them for standing up for refugees!
