Notarios are NOT lawyers, and they are not qualified to provide legal advice or immigration services. In some cases, Notarios are people in the community that speak your language, but immigration law is complex and it is very important to get information and legal help from trusted and qualified sources.

Unfortunately, many immigrant families are targeted by scams or people who pretend to offer legal help but are not authorized to practice immigration law.
