By now you’ve heard that the US Army is withdrawing from Afghanistan. But what happens to the people in Afghanistan – and their families – who helped serve the United States as translators, liaisons, guides, and more?
Commemorating the events of September 11th, 2001, join us for an Ask Me Anything on September 2nd, 2021. We will hear from HIAS PA’s Director of Social Services, Lucy Rabbaa, and HIAS PA’s Office Manager and former SIV, Mohammad Sadiq Sadeed, about the Afghan refugees coming to the US on Special Immigrant Visa status, and the repercussions of the War in Afghanistan.
