HIAS PA Congregational Advocacy for Immigrants

Learn about how you and your congregation can be more involved in advocacy for immigrants. During this inaugural advocacy event, we will be focusing on state advocacy for driver’s licenses for all through Driving PA Forward. Access to driver’s licenses not only makes driving safer for immigrants, but for everyone on the road.
We will also focus on PAIFUP, a program which provides free representation to immigrants in detention; Title 42, a Trump-era policy established to both deport immigrants and turn them away at the border; and on the path to citizenship for DREAMers and essential workers in the upcoming budget reconciliation bill.
