As a teacher, she has taught students in schools, nonprofits, and arts organizations based in Philly and New York City. She has served as a teacher at the Training & Upgrading Fund where she worked with young adults in career readiness & college prep. Prior to this, Victoria was an actress with InterAct Theatre Company, Mu Performing Arts, and the National Asian American Theatre Festival, to name a few.
Prior to her work in education and theatre, Victoria originally started out in nonprofit management at Asian Arts Initiative, a community-based organization in Chinatown, and has been engaged in advocacy and policy work in immigrant communities since. She previously served as the Board Chair of the New York chapter of the National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum and was a Policy Advisor member to the national organization. She is very happy to return to nonprofit and to bring her dynamic range of experiences to her role!
Victoria’s proudest role to date has been being a mom, and she credits her 3-year-old son with giving her the strength and courage to spread love and cheer to those around her! In her spare time, you will find her taking a yoga class or making the perfect Vietnamese salad with her mom. She is the proud daughter of refugees from Vietnam and is excited to honor her father and mother’s hard work and legacy through serving immigrant and refugee communities in her beloved hometown Philly! Victoria received her Master’s from NYU and is a graduate of Central High! Yay Lancers!
