Rebecca Weber

Rebecca (Becca) Weber is the Development and Communications Associate at HIAS Pennsylvania. She received her B.A. in Latin American and Caribbean Studies, East Asian Studies, and Middle Eastern Languages from McGill University. Becca has worked as an English as a Second Language teacher in Israel, Taiwan, and Costa Rica, and has traveled extensively throughout Asia and Latin America. An avid language-learner, Becca speaks English, Spanish, and Hebrew, and has dabbled in Arabic, French, Chinese, American Sign Language, Esperanto, Russian, and Portuguese.

Becca is an editor and a writer, and has ghostwritten and edited multiple books. She was the Vice President of Public Relations of Independence Blue Cross’ Big Blue Toastmasters Club, is currently on the Board of M.A.P.S. Global Events, and is active within the Philadelphia Jewish community.
