Meredith Young

As the Development and Communications Associate, Meredith Young supports immigrant advocacy by crafting compelling stories, advancing fundraising efforts, and fostering connections with the broader Philadelphia community.

Before joining HIAS Pennsylvania, she worked at the Barnes Foundation, a non-profit promoting the advancement of art education and appreciation. Through her work, she developed mission-driven campaigns for the Barnes Shop website, newsletters, and social media platforms.

Meredith holds a B.A. in Media, Culture, & the Arts and went on to continue her studies in Graphic Design at the University of Pennsylvania. When she is not working on advocacy projects, Meredith enjoys designing floral arrangements and exploring Philadelphia’s vibrant restaurant scene.
