Andrew Niemynski

Andrew Niemynski serves as HIAS Pennsylvania’s Housing Coordinator. It is Andrew’s job to find housing for newly arrived refugees to Philadelphia, and he then assists them with continued housing support and orientations. Prior to working at HIAS PA, Andrew worked at SEAMAAC on the community development team serving South Philadelphia’s immigrant and refugee community. He studied Urban Studies at the University of Pittsburgh with a focus on community development. Andrew is from the Philadelphia area and is the son and grandson of Polish immigrants and refugees. As a second-generation American, Andrew is proud to assist others on their journey in the United States.
