Amy Win

Amy Win is a case manager in the Immigrant Wellness program at HIAS PA. In this role, Amy provides intensive case management services to individuals facing barriers to self-sufficiency.

Amy is from Myanmar/Burma and received their bachelors degree in criminology at the University of Pennsylvania. Throughout college, Amy found their passion for immigrant and refugee rights by interning and volunteering at the Southeast by Southeast community center in South Philadelphia, working mostly with Karen and Chin refugees through art classes, Burmese language class, mental health workshops, and community events. Amy also conducted academic research on the Burmese public education system and its impact on the human rights of ethnic minorities from Myanmar/Burma.
