Amy Eckendorf

Amy Eckendorf is the Immigrant Wellness Program Manager at HIAS Pennsylvania. In this role, she supports refugees and immigrants who are experiencing significant barriers to self-sufficiency here in the United States. Amy and her team navigate the complexities of systems and work to support clients in accessing the needed care and support they deserve.

Amy’s professional experiences include working with refugee youth and youth experiencing homelessness, and counseling survivors of interpersonal violence. She holds a Masters in Social Work from West Chester University and a B.A in Intercultural Studies and Sociology. As a licensed social worker, Amy is particularly interested in addressing barriers to accessing culturally appropriate mental healthcare.
