Announcing the new Refugee Programming and Planning Director

We are proud to announce Carrie Fox-Kline, MSW, who currently serves as the Know Your Rights Manager in our Immigrant Youth Advocacy Project, has been named the new Refugee Programming and Planning Director.


Carrie is an experience social worker who has been working with immigrants and refugees for many years, starting in 2006 in Tuscon, AZ where she worked providing educational seminars about the issues on the U.S/Mexico border. She then moved to Chicago, IL, where she worked at the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights as an educator and program leader. She also worked as a social worker at the Chicago Lights Elam Davies Social Service Center and Chicago's Interfaith House. Carrie joined the HIAS Pennsylvania legal team in December 2013, starting as the Know Your Rights Coordinator and, as the team grew, moving up to Manager. 


Carrie went to the College of William & Mary for her BA, recieved her Masters in Social Work from the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration, and a Master of Divinity from the McCormick Theological Seminary.
