Enock Sanon

Enock Sanon is the Asylee Outreach Project and Housing Navigator. Enock obtained his undergraduate degrees at Geneva College in Western PA. There, he received a B.A. in Sociology and B.S. in Political Science. He then earned a Master's degree in International Development at Eastern University in Wayne, PA.

Enock is from the county of Haiti and has always been passionate about helping those marginalized in society. Prior to working at HIAS PA, Enock interned with AJAPO, a refugee resettlement agency in Pittsburgh PA. He also interned with WORC (Women's Opportunities Resource Center) here in Philadelphia which assists women, refugees, and other low-income individuals in obtaining many types of services including small business loans. Enock has also worked full time as a Truancy Case Manager with SEAMAAC, another Philadelphia non-profit that works with low-income individuals.

With a long track record of helping others in difficult situations, Enock is glad to be part of the HIAS PA team where he can use his energy and talents to connect incoming refugee families with safe and secure housing as well as other vital resources needed when coming to a new country. With his personal and professional experience, Enock looks forward to helping families adjust to life in the US.
