Why Immigration Matters: A Month of Jewish Reflection, Study and Action
April 1– May 7, 2012
Thank you for your interest in participating in the Greater Philadelphia Jewish Coalition on Immigration program Why Immigration Matters. The Coalition, a joint project of HIAS Pennsylvania and JCRC, supported by ADL, AJC, and JSPAN, has come together with the goal of mobilizing the area Jewish community to support and to advocate for fair and just immigration reform on city, state and federal levels. Jews have a strong tradition, based on our history and our sacred texts, of welcoming the stranger and advocating on behalf of immigrant-friendly policies and legislation. Why Immigration Matters builds on this history and tradition by presenting an opportunity for our community to re-engage and deepen our understanding of and involvement in, current immigration issues.
Please complete this short form so that we can have a better idea of your Synagogue’s/Organization's area of interest.
