Minu Mathew

Minu Mathew hails from the neighboring state of New Jersey.  Minu has been engaged in advocating for immigrant and women's rights issues for the past five years focusing on addressing issues such as violence against women and culturally appropriate service provision through community education, individual/group counseling, and case management.  In her current position, Minu assists in resettling newly arriving refugee families in Philadelphia and coordinates the Matching Grant program at HIAS Pennsylvania, which provides education and employment services. Minu received her Masters in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and B.A. in Psychology from The College of New Jersey.
