Elizabeth Yaeger

Elizabeth Yaeger coordinates HIAS Pennsylvania's Asylee Outreach Project, which provides direct legal services, information, referrals and case management to people throughout Pennsylvania who have been granted asylum. Prior to joining HIAS, Liz was a staff attorney with the Pennsylvania Immigration Resource Center (PIRC), where she conducted legal training for detained immigrants and represented torture survivors, the mentally ill and other vulnerable clients in removal proceedings. She graduated cum laude from Temple University's Beasley School of Law in 2009. Her career as an immigrant advocate began in 2004, when she served as a Jesuit volunteer and paralegal with a Central American community-based organization in California. She speaks fluent Spanish.
