Opening Doors for New Americans since 1882
Immigration issues, in particular the question of an individual’s immigration status, affect a broad range of service providers. These issues are increasingly important as the immigrant population in Pennsylvania continues to grow and more Federal, state and local legislation addresses the intersection of immigration status and eligibility for services. Providers across all service areas are increasingly faced with immigration questions regarding service provision. HIAS Pennsylvania offers technical assistance to these agencies to enhance in-house capacity and improve services to the immigrant community.
HIAS Pennsylvania provides training to a broad range of service providers, including domestic violence advocates, nonprofit legal service providers, social workers and many other agencies. Learn more about resources for immigrants and service providers.
