Opening Doors for New Americans since 1882
Judith Bernstein-Baker, former Executive Director of HIAS Pennsylvania, was recently honored by the Philadelphia City Council in a resolution sponsored by Councilwoman Maria Quinones-Sanchez.
The text of the resolution is below:
So many people can get stuck in citizenship limbo through no fault of their own--like parents not applying for residency when they adopt children from abroad.
