Prachi Potdar

Prachi Potdar is an associate with the Philadelphia Partnership for Resilience (PPR). The PPR is a partnership between HIAS PA and the Nationalities Service Center, and is funded by the Office of Refugee Resettlement. As part of the legal team, Prachi represents and provides legal services to survivors of torture, including refugees, asylees, and asylum seekers.

Prachi graduated with a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and received her Juris Doctor from Southern Illinois University, School of Law, with an emphasis in international human rights. Prachi has experience externing and working with multiple public interest organizations including the Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation and the Family Defense Center. She has also been involved in the coordination of several international law events including the Model UN Conference on the Rule of Law and seminars promoting the International Criminal Court, held by the Philadelphia Global Initiative on the Rule of Law. In addition, she is currently a board member with the United Nations Association of Greater Philadelphia.
