Join us in support of our friends and allies at the Philadelphia Folklore Project at 753 South 50th Street from 6-8pm for a photo exhibit curated by PFP, Asian Americans United and other partners. In December 2009, South Philadelphia High School erupted in violence against Asian American students, and as a result, dozens of the victimized students boycotted their high school and launched a civil rights campaign around a district's responsibility to provide a safe educational climate. This exhibition features voices from a campaign that sought educational justice in a school struggling with violence and racial discord. Featuring photography by Harvey Finkle and Kathy Shimizu.

Free opening reception on May 4, refreshments provided.

Exhibition will be up and free to the public through August 31.
